New Haven: Our Breakfast Club @ The Greek Olive

The oldest of the Connecticut Business Connection events, Our Breakfast Club was founded by Peaches Quinn and B.J. Frazier in 2004. It became part of the Connecticut Business Connection in 2011. The New Haven based event focuses on building long-term relationships between businesspeople to facilitate a sharing of knowledge and exchange of referrals.

Each event includes networking plus a speaker to share information on how to build your business and career, as well as a tech update to bring attendees up-to-date on changing technology and tricks to get the most of of the technology you use.  Meetings are run by Peaches Quinn.

Network with businesspeople and learn new ideas for your business and career. Whether you are a business owner, salesperson, financial advisor, marketing professional, attorney, doctor, therapist, contractor, banker, realtor, or any other profession, you are welcome at the Connecticut Business Connection networking meetings, seminars, and events to meet new people, grow relationships and learn business techniques to help you succeed and grow.

Our Breakfast Club meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 a.m. at The Greek Olive (402 Sargent Drive, New Haven).

West Hartford: Capital Region Business Exchange @ Salons by JC

The CAPITAL REGION BUSINESS EXCHANGE (CRBE) is an ongoing monthly business networking meeting. The purpose of CRBE is to give professionals the opportunity to introduce themselves and connect with others doing business in the Capital Region. Meetings are FREE (bring your own coffee) and there is no registration. CBRE was spun off from another networking group in 2007 by Jody Ferrer. Shortly after, Chip Janiszewski became Jody’s Co-Facilitator and the group was re-named the Capital Region Business Exchange. Due to business demands, Jody left CRBE in 2014 and Chip has been running the group since. The group became part of the Connecticut Business Connection in 2016.

Meetings feature open networking, education, 30 second commercials, a fun “Needs – Opportunities – Testimonials” segment, and then more open networking. Join us and bring a friend (or 3).

Middletown: CTBC Women’s Networking @ Tuscany Grill

Started in 2015, Middletown Women’s Networking brings the resources of the Connecticut Business Connection to the growing audience of women entrepreneurs. Run by Ivy Lebron and Maureen Jasse, the group focuses on the issues faced by CT businesswomen.

Trumbull: GROW – Business Networking Group @ Grace Episcopal Church

This group is for anyone looking to grow their business while helping their fellow members grown their own businesses as well.

We are a focused, productive, friendly group of business people who come together every Tuesday morning to help each other develop business. Only one person from an industry can become a member of our group, but visitors are always welcome.

Each member has the opportunity each week to make a one-minute presentation about themselves and their business and to request leads from the other group members. This is a very dynamic and powerful exercise that yields many referrals among the members per week.

We are always looking to expand our group by identifying local business people who know the value of developing relationships and the power of business development through giving and getting good, qualified referrals.

For our planning purposes, please RSVP. Also feel free to ask us any questions you may have. We meet at the Grace Episcopal Church in Trumbull; Tuesdays at 7:30 AM for 1 hr

The Newington 7 AM Network meets every Wednesday at Middlewoods of Newington from 7 AM to 8:30. Continental breakfast is available at each meeting. Participants do 30 second commercials for their businesses and exchange business leads and testimonials. Each meeting ends with a scheduled presentation by a member of the network. The group became part of the Connecticut Business Connection in 2016.

Members pay $100 quarterly and prospective members pay a $50 one-time application fee. The event connects members of the South Windsor Chamber to the resources of the Connecticut Business Connection and allows Connecticut Business Connection attendees to learn about the chamber prior to joining.
